How to Search
Enter a word, multiple words or a phrase to search.Find multiple words: When you enter more than one word, for example, john booth, documents will match if they contain all of your words anywhere on the same page, which may not be what you want.
Find a phrase: Enter your terms within double quotes. For example, "john booth". A phrase is two or more words adjacent to each other.
Find words near each other: Enter your terms within double quotes and between the terms put the characters: w/x with 'x' being a number indicating how far apart the matching words can be. For example, to find the words "john" and "booth" within a span of four words enter, "john w/4 booth". This will find "john booth", "john j. booth", "john julius booth" and "john julius brutus booth".
To view a result, click on the file name. The page will open in Adobe Reader with the 'hits' highlighted. Use the Zoom In tool on the Adobe Reader tool bar to enlarge the text.
